Your customers can receive your surveys via email or SMS text. You can customize the template for both of these methods.

Important: If the message template is not configured, you can’t send the survey.

Note: You are responsible for any costs incurred with sending your survey via SMS.

Customizing Your Email Template

To customize your email template:

1. From the survey, select More > Message Template.

2. Click the Email tab.

3. Edit the following information as necessary. As you make changes, you can view a preview of your email to the right.

  • Company Name: The name of your company.
  • Subject: The subject of the email.
  • Body: The text included in the body of the email.

Note: When working with the Subject and Body fields, notice the text surrounded by a double set of curly brackets {{variable}}. These enclose dynamic variables that include information unique to the user receiving it.

4. When done, click Save.

Customizing Your SMS Template

To customize your SMS template:

1. From the survey, select More > Message Template.

2. Click the SMS tab.

3. Edit the following information as necessary. As you make changes, you can view a preview of your SMS message to the right.

  • Company Name: The name of your company.
  • SMS: The text included in the body of the text message.

4. When done, click Save.
