Why is Learning important to my team?

Playvox’s Learning product has 4 areas: Homeroom, Library, Manager, and Reports. We’ll briefly cover each area in this article to get you acquainted with the lay of the Learning land.

Homeroom

Homeroom is your starting point. Get in your seat before the bell rings, or we’ll mark you tardy (Just kidding)! All jokes aside, this is where you’ll be able to see the courses you’ve enrolled in as well as whether they are Ongoing or Completed.

  • Ongoing lists your courses that have Approaching Deadlines or are Pending approval from the Course Administrator. You’ll also be able to see if a course is Overdue.

  • Completed lists all of the courses that you have successfully completed.

Note: If you have not yet completed a course, this tab will not be present on your Homeroom page.

Click on any course to view the course page.

Library

In the Library, you can easily access all of your existing courses and learning paths. You can also browse any new courses or paths that are available to you. The page is organized by My courses, My learning paths, New courses, New Learning Paths, and Skills. You may also search for courses or learning paths in the search bar and filter according to your preferences.

Manager

If you have manager permissions, you will see a Manager link at the top of the page.

The Courses tab allows you to:

  • View a summary of the total number of courses and the learners enrolled.

  • Create a new course with the New Course button.

  • View the Courses list as well as an Archive list.

  • Edit, Archive or Delete any Course you have access to.

The Learning paths allows you to:

  • View a summary of the total number of learning paths, courses, and the learners enrolled.

  • Create a new learning path with the New Learning Path button.

  • View the Learning Paths list as well as an Archive list.

  • Edit, Archive or Delete any Learning path you have access to.

Reports

A general summary of your Learning data will be highlighted at the top of this page. You’ll be able to see statistics for Library Material (total number of Activities, Courses, and Learning Paths), Activities Completed, Training Hours, and Enrollments.
