Customer service is the name of the game here at Playvox. But where would we be without OUR customers? That’s right - we’re talking about you! You are a crucial part of our company. We literally couldn’t do it without you. Your voice is important to us, and we want to make the Playvox experience the best it can possibly be.

We’ve partnered with UserVoice so you can create, vote for, and view new ideas that would make your Playvox life easier. Is there a feature that would smooth out your workflow? How about an enhancement that you’d love to add for visual clarity? Tell us about it!

Here’s how

  1. You’ll receive an email from Playvox inviting you to join Uservoice.

Note: This may land in your junk mail/spam folder, so be sure to check there!

2. Go to https://playvox.uservoice.com to set up your account.

3. Click Sign in.

4. A sign-in window will appear. At the bottom of the window click Create Account.

5. A new window will appear asking you to verify your email (the same one where

you received the invitation). Type in your email address and click Verify Email.

6. A popup window will appear asking you to check your email.

Important: Do not close this tab on your browser.

7. Check your email and click the button that says Confirm Email for Playvox

UserVoice.

8. When you return to the UserVoice tab, you’ll see the following login window.

9. Create your password, then click Set Password.

Note: The password must contain at least 8 characters, an uppercase character, a lowercase character, a numeric character, and a special character.

You’ll receive a confirmation message that will prompt you to login.

10. Click Go to Login.

Note: You may choose “remember me” to stay logged in for 30 days before needing to reauthenticate. We recommend using this option ONLY if you do not share a computer. For more information on login and authentication, please check out this article.

Hooray! Your metaphorical microphone has been plugged into the sound system. You’re ready to be heard!

What’s next?

Once you log into UserVoice, you can start looking at existing ideas, vote for ideas that vibe with yours, and even create new ones if you wish!

Important: Before creating a new idea, it is crucial that you make sure your idea (or a very similar idea) has not already been presented. It is much more beneficial for all parties involved if you VOTE on an idea rather than creating multiple similar ideas. You may tell us your particular company’s situation in the comments section, but the more votes on one idea - the more chance it will come to fruition!

Viewing and Voting

You may view and vote by starting at the Search bar, or by browsing the product categories.

From Search Field

  1. Go to the search bar at the top right of the page.

2. Start typing your idea. UserVoice will automatically suggest ideas based on the

words in your search.

3. Select the idea that most matches yours the best (if applicable).

A new window will open. From here you’ll be able to view the title and description of the idea, vote for the idea, leave comments relevant to your company’s additional needs on the original idea, or jump to another forum.

From Product Categories

  1. Choose the category that best fits your idea.

Note: You may choose platform if your idea is not product-specific.

You will be brought to a new page where you can scroll through all the current ideas listed under that category.

2. You may also type in a new idea within that category.

If your idea matches any other ideas within the category, you’ll see a list of similar ideas appear below.

3. Browse the list of existing ideas to read more, vote, and comment on other User’s

ideas.

4. Vote for any ideas that ring true for you right from this list! Just click the Vote

button on the left side of the idea.

Note: You may “unvote” at any time by clicking on the vote button again.

Create a new idea

If you have searched for your idea, and have not found anything similar, you may create a new idea!

Remember: We strongly encourage you to vote on similar ideas already in the system in order to streamline the idea process and make sure your voice is heard.

  1. Select the product category for your idea.

  2. Enter your idea where prompted.

  3. Select the category that best fits from the drop-down menu.

  4. Describe your idea and add any necessary attachments.

5. Click Post Idea and let the votes roll in!

Status tabs

Each idea will have a status tab associated with it, indicating where the idea is in the development process.

Check out our definitions below:

  • No Status - The idea has not yet been read.

  • Acknowledged - A Product Manager has read the idea and is waiting for more votes from other customers.

Note: Our product managers will be doing these reviews on a weekly basis. After 10 votes from different customers we will review the idea in detail. We want to make sure as many customers benefit from this idea as possible!

  • Under Review - A Product Manager is investigating the idea in detail and determining if we should move forward with development.

  • Prioritized - The Product Manager has determined that the idea should be developed. The idea is now in line for development.

  • Planned - The idea has been slotted for development.

  • Started - Playvox is actively working on the development.

  • Completed - development is complete and the item is released in production.

  • Declined - A Product Manager has determined that we will not develop the idea. There will be comments from the Product Manager explaining the decision.
